I know I've done a few posts....but thought I'd add a few to get some conversations flowing and some interesting insights from other alt Mums!!

Do your kids like your music? Mine like anything, but they do love ours, my eldest, Luke loves the Pixies, Metallica, Hinder, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Hanging Doll and, um, Murderdolls, although we've had to turn that off!! Luckily he still thinks that "Grave Robbing USA" says "Jane Roberts USA", which we were happy to let him believe!! My youngest has alwasy loved metal since a baby..true this....metal would soothe him, and he's cry when you swapped it for soft music....my Mum couldn't believe her eyes when I showed her when he was a few months old!!

They both do a mean air guitar.....haha!!

Halen likes most music really, its kind of hard to say at the moment though, as i mentioned in another post, he is possibly autistic, and in terms of his development he is only at the level of a 1yr old, even though he is 3. But you put any music on and he wants to dance with you! He did have a thing for the Greenday - Jesus of surburbia video though, and everytime he heard it come on he would be there watching it?!

Scarlett is 4 and Leo is 2 and they both love rocking out!!! Scarlett does the rock hand sign and keeps doing it while shouting Rock and Roll!!! She also attempts to teach Leo. Leo isn't into music too much, but Scarlett loves Welcome to the Jungle by G&R and many of the other Guitar Hero songs. Unfortunately she is also a big HSM and Girls Aloud fan!!

Mya likes Rhianna,camp rock,HSM and that miley whatever her name is.

Out of my music she often pinches zombie girl,that seems to be her favorite.She likes the birthday massacre to.My brother is more of a mosher and when mya was very little she liked the murder dolls along with a lot of other heavy stuff....used to sent her nuts rocking out! lol

Fleur likes most of the music we put on as its all shes heard really. She shouts for greenday in the car which makes me feel so proud! We are having to be a bit more careful at the min though with our music choices as shes at the parroting stage and seems to have a knack of only picking up the wrong words

When Scarlett was 2ish she used to mosh around the living room to Buffy theme!! Also she used to sing along to drowning pool which was cute!!

well my little girl does nt have nursery rhymes or kids songs at bed times but listens to marilyn manson, the lost boys soundtrack, and status quo!

she loves marilyn manson as much as I do, and knows the words to loads of his songs, plus lacuna coil, rob zombie, mushroomhead, abd linkin park!!

I'm so proud!!

My little girl listens to whatever we do and she loves it but she is really fond of moi dix mois, malice mizer, dir en grey & judas priest. She went through a phase of watching the vids for songs on youtube over and over again, but her ultimate favs are beast of blood & Kyomu no naka.

When my girl was a baby we used to play dystopia for sleepy time worked everytime. now she is loving Ramones, sublime and Mutiny. luckily for me she has a hate thing to anything girly. She once thought she would like to try ballet but when we got in there she put fingers in ears and fell to the ground "Its sooo poxy mum can we go" Yes i said yes we can.

As a baby, my son would always dance to Adam and the the ants - dog eat dog
